NEW! Wi-Fi Firmware Recovery Tool (Windows 10/11) - Forces a Wi-Fi Firmware Update on your Pool Lab unit, even when Firebase is not responding
Note: Windows Defender may report this an an unknown application and the Network scanning features may also trigger other anti-virus/malware warnings.
Instructions: Extract all the files from the ZIP into a temporary folder on a Windows PC that is connected to the same LAN as your Pool Lab.
For example, unzip files to: c:\temp\poollabrecovery (or similar)
Then run the executable: "PoolLabRecovery.exe"

The Wi-Fi Firmware Recovery Tool requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or later which is already included in Windows 11 and Windows 10 from the May 2019 update onwards. Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 with .NET should also be compatible (untested).
KNOWN ISSUE: Some customers with Amazon's EERO routers have reported issues with Firebase connectivity. This appears to be related to this routers automatic threat protection. Some eero security settings can block Pool Lab’s cloud connection. Temporarily disabling Advanced Security can confirm the cause. Contact eero support to arrange an exception so protection can remain enabled.
Similar issues may present on other brand routers also. See your router documentation for instructions on how to add allowed sites
